Silvina Moreno, a brilliant indie and folk singer/ songwriter based in Buenos Aires, will play the Casa Phoenix in celebration of the new year and her new album Real. She has recently opened for Alicia Keys and Gilberto Gil.

In the past year, Silvina has opened for Alicia Keys and Gilberto Gil in Buenos Aires and played Personal Fest, one of the biggest festivals in the country. In 2012 and 2013 she played alongside Albert Hammond Jr, Muse, Aerosmith, Kashmir, Jane's Addiction and Dirty Projectors among others.

Silvina is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and she lived and played in Boston and New York for 5 years. After returning from NYC in 2011 she launched her career in Buenos Aires with her first album "Mañana", which has helped her draw a number of fans to her shows in Argentina as well as noticeable recognition online. That album earned her a 2013 nomination for "best new pop artist" of the Gardel Prize (Argentina's most important music award.)  In March 2015, she is set to release her second album, "Real".

This past summer she toured the UK and Germany, playing in numerous cities and venues, including Ronnie Scott's TV Nights and the Slaughtered Lamb in London. Silvina recently returned from playing eight shows throughout Colombia.
