House Concerts

Stone Room Concerts  -- now a 501c3 -- began in 2012 as a series of private house concerts. The initial venue was in the basement of a private home, a stone house located in the Seven Corners area of Falls Church and built in 1941.  These occasional concerts are
carried out privately and not under the auspices of Stone Room Concerts.

Stone Room Concerts can also bring music to other homes anywhere in Maryland, DC or Virginia.  We always have more artists than we're able to host, so we're able to book artists in other, less regular house concert venues. We bring the chairs, sound system (if needed), and arrange the dates with the artists - you provide the guests.  (You could call this the Rolling Stone Room Concerts!) Folks interested in hosting a house concert should be in touch with David at stoneroomconcerts@gmail.com.

House concerts will normally begin at 8 pm, with the doors open 30 minutes beforehand.  Attendees will be able to reserve their seats on arrival.   BYOB.  An appetizer and dessert are always welcome but not required -- some light refreshments will be provided.

Before the concert, we will email each of our confirmed guests all of the details, including directions. We will also appreciate it if you can let us know if you have to cancel a reservation, so that we can make room for others.
